Market Foundation: Rugged Mobility Expertise

Tsukuru was founded in 2019 as the authorized distributor of Oukitel rugged devices (trading as Oukitel South Africa) across South and East Africa. From the outset, the business focused on enabling operational environments where durability, battery endurance, and reliability were non-negotiable.

By supplying high-performance devices designed for demanding field conditions, Tsukuru established credibility as a trusted mobility partner in mission-critical settings.

Capability Expansion: From Hardware to Control

As client requirements evolved, so did our offering. In January 2024, Tsukuru launched its Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform marking a deliberate transition from device distribution to integrated mobility management.

This shift enabled organizations to centralize device security, enforce compliance policies, manage applications, and optimize asset performance. It represented a strategic move toward scalable, software-enabled control.
